| Marked on the left side of the housing "TELESCOPIC MUSKET SIGHT/MODEL OF 1913 NO2708/THE WARNER & SWASEY CO./CLEVELAND OHIO U.S.A./PAT. FEB 13-06 MAY 22-06 DEC 15-08". Marked inside the dovetailed mount "For Rifle No. 632190". The drift and wind correction plates on the top of the housing are intact. Complete with the rubber eyecup which has hardened and deformed. The optics are good, are a bit cloudy and show some specks. Includes the leather carrying case, which is marked on the back "DIAMOND D" over the logo and "A.B.D.". There is also a number lightly scratched 352638. The case has the original shoulder strap which is torn and the wrench in the pouch on the front. The belt hook is present. The strap for the case cover is torn with the end missing, as is the small strap for the tool pouch on the front. One of the keeper straps for the shoulder strap has one of the rivets missing. The leather is dry, showing scuffs and soiling. The scope retains 90% plus of the black enamel finish showing mainly only edge wear. |
