| 32 ACP; 98% blue, very good grips, 3.75'' barrel, Manufactured in Russian occupied East Germany, reportedly by the Ernst Thallman firm, c.early 1950's. These PP pistols were assembled from both new manufacture and left over parts from the previous Walther factory after it was rebuilt. These pistols were manufactured for only about 4 years in limited quantity and issued mainly to Police. Original blued finish and mottled checkered plastic grips without the Walther banner. Matching serial numbers on the frame and slide. Flat base magazine serial numbered and matching. The left side of the slide is stamped "1001-0-Cal 7,65" with a post war style eagle over crown/N proof. The eagle and crown/N proof also appear on the left side of the frame. The left rear frame behind the grip is stamped with a marking "AB/70" inside a dotted circle? Bore is greased. Our import mark., s/n 044xx |
