| 9x19mm; 98% blue, very good bore, excellent grips, 4 7/8'' barrel, Original bright blued finish and dark brown bakelite grips. Matching serial numbers except the magazine. Grips are matching with the last three digits of the serial number and eagle/359 proofs. The magazine is the proper variation, serial numbered on the base lip 9924, with eagle/359 proofs high and low on the spine. Small parts are properly stamped with eagle/359 proofs. Both the locking block and left rear barrel are stamped with the eagle/swaztika military acceptance marks. The bottom of the barrel lug is stamped "AC", with eagle/359 proof located on the right side of the lug. The right side of the slide is stamped with two eagle/359 proofs flanking the eagle/swaztika military acceptance mark. The left side of the slide is stamped "P.38" followed by "ac/41". The left side of the frame marked with an eagble/359 proof, left side of the trigger guard marked "ac". This early military P.38 shows very light cycling wear externally and internally. Outer wear is mainly on the sharp edges, the edges also having some minor spotting here and there. Small area of minor spotting on the left side of the slide over the code marking. There is also some minor spotting on the left side of the barrels muzzle ring. Scattered light handling scratches on the slide, mainly the right side. The barrels bore has fairly sharp rifling, some slight darkness along the grooves. Not import marked., s/n 57xx |
