| 8x57mm; 90% blue, excellent bore, very good stock, 23.5'' barrel, Walther ordnance parts build up snipers rifle, with SS deaths head mark on the left side of the barrel near the serial number. Original blued finish. Laminated stock with unmarked cupped buttplate. Laminated handguard. Matching serial numbers. Milled parts. The receiver is neither manufacturer code nor date marked. One Walther eagle/359 proof is located on the right side of the receiver ring and two Walther eagle/359 proofs are located on the right side of the rear sight base. The bolt is serial numbered and matching with Mauser eagle/655 proofs. Both barrel bands and the floorplate are serial numbered matching and are stamped with the number "1" as well. Sling, sight hood and cleaning rod are all present. The scope base and mount are unmarked. The scope mounted is a K/Kahles H/4x60 with pointer and crossbar reticle. The optics are clear. The reticles are good however there is some fuzzy border. Elevation adjustment functions properly. The wood appears to have been lightly sanded at some point, and is unmarked externally. The bore is sharp and bright., s/n 12xx |
