| 4mm; 96% blue, fair bore, very good stock, 28.8'' barrel, VILLIFORTH SINGLE SHOT FALLING BLOCK PARLOR RIFLE CHAMBERED IN 4MM IN VERY GOOD OVERALL CONDITION. THE TOP OF THE BARREL IS INSCRIBED " P.VILLIFORTH, ESSLINGEN. THE HEAVY OCTAGON BARREL HAS A DIRTY 4MM BORE WITH DISTINT RIFLING THE REAR OF THE BARREL HAS A GOLD INLA BAND URROUNDING THE BREACH. THE RECEIVER, FALLING BLOCK AND TRIGGER GUARD LEVER RETAIN APPROX 70% OF THEIR CASE COLORS. THE RECEIEVER BEARS LIGHT ENGRAVING. THE REAR TANG SIGHT IS MISSING. THE BUTTSTOCK IS FINELY CHECKERED IN THE GRIP AREA. THE SIDES OF BOTH THE FRONT AND REAR OF THE RECEIVER HAVE AN INTERESTING CIRCULAR PATTERN CARVED IN THE WOOD. THE FOREARM IS CHECKERED ON THE UNDERSIDE AND HAS A SCHNABEL TIP. |
