| 16 Gauge; poor bore, fair stock, 30'' barrel, Manufactured in Belgium ca. 1880's. Browned finish Damascus barrels, 2 1/2 inch chambers with open chokes, barrel shortened to length at some point. Concave rib with silver inlaid "VICTOR COLLETTE LIEGE". Simple floral leaf engraving on the frame and lockpaltes. English style walnut stock. Ornate trigger guard. Rifle style sights, fixed front blade, fixed rear with folding leaf. Missing the lower sling swivel. The upper swivel has been resoldered. The action function fine and barrel lockup is good. Metal and wood worn, with a few minor dings on the barrels. Small splits at the toe of the stock. Bore are pitted. Antique, s/n 699xx |
