| 16 Gauge; good bore, good stock, 28'' barrel, Manufactured in Belgium circa 1880s. Browned damascus barrels, casehardened frame, mounted in a walnut stock. 2 9/16 inch chambers with Cylinder chokes, the barrel shortened to length. Underlever break action, ornate trigger guard with bone grip, stock with cheekrest and a 14 inch LOP, the original flat steel buttplate present. Silver wire inlay d?cor with most of the inlay missing. Both hammers are replacements. The metal finish and casehardening have worn to an even gray over all. Mechanically fine with good barrel lockup. Antique, s/n 418xx |
