| 85% blue, very good+ grips, The Model 1917 is an enlisted sailor sword. It has an overall length of 31 inches and a single edge blade of 24 5/8 long, with a 14 ½ fuller. The blade is in very good plus condition, it has no nicks or patina. The obverse of the riccaso is marked 201 and the reverse of the riccaso is marked U.S.N. The hilt and the scabbard fitting have a blacked metal finish, again in very good plus condition. The wooden grips have an x pattern and three brass rivets. The scabbard has a leather body with metal fittings. The tip of the scabbard has a brass ball. The leather condition has intact stitching, and the leather is supple., s/n 2xx |
