| WWI U.S. Web belt and M1917 revolver cartridge pouch. The belt is marked US and the holster is marked "GREGORY READ & CO./LYNN MASS/U.S.A.". It has Three snap type pockets covering pouches which are each 2 1/2" x 4 1/2". Three pouches in vertical row with snap the dot closures sewn to a common piece of canvas. Total height is 8". Behind two top pouches is a horizontal sleeve, accepting a belt. The pouch holds six half-moon clips which are adapted .45 Cal automatic pistol ammunition to revolver use. The belt and pouches are khaki and canvas. |
