| 30-06 Cal; very good bore, very good stock, 24'' barrel, SA 9-08 barrel, arsenal refurbished for issue during WW2. Parkerized finish, mounted in a walnut pinned straight grip stock and handguard. All milled parts except the stacking swivel, the upper band and stacking swivel are R marked. Stock marked on the left side with a boxed SA/GAW cartouche and ordnance wheel escutcheon. Circled serifed P firing proof on the grip. Mechanically fine, the bores rifling is strong and the muzzle is good, showing light frost throughout. Note: 1903 Springfield rifles serial numbered below 800,000 are "Low Number" rifles that some consider unsafe for shootiing purposes. C&R/FFL, s/n 3556xx |
