| 50 Caliber; excellent bore, excellent stock, 36.5'' barrel, Model 1864 rifled musket is a .50 caliber rifled musket produced by the Springfield Armory. This musket is dated 1864 on the lock and has a deep clear U.S / SPRINGFIELD next to an Eagle stamped into the lock. The breach block is dated 1866 / EAGLE HEAD insp mark. The walnut stock has a deep clear inspector’s cartouche, above the trigger on the left side This rifle has been refinished all the steel has been polished or chromed. The stock has minor small handling marks. The buttplate has U.S. stamped on the top of the rollover., |
