| 78TH Division uniform of pfc Louis Kochendofer, consisting of Model 1918 coat and breeches with belt together with copies of his discharge, statement of service card and obituary. Insignia consists of 78th division shoulder patch, red discharge stripe and artillery pfc patch. Overseas chevrons are missing but outline is noticeable. Collar brass is a stylized USNA (National Army) disk and Battery C of the 304th field artillery regiment disk. Group also includes a carry all for small items with his name and unit written on it. Partial coat tag: OAT / 4 ½ / LONG, 36, 31, 28 ¼, 32 ½, 16. No tag in breeches. Both has a few small moth holes., |
