| The M2 clocks were issued from WW2 and into the 1960's. Primarily used for operators to record times of incoming and outgoing communications traffic. These clocks evidently had multiple uses in all branches of service and in Government civil services as well. Securely mounted inside its box for transport, and includes the Chelsea Clock Company parts sheet with technical information and parts listing, and winding key in its mount. Clock face measures 6" diameter and is mounted in a composite housing. Box measurements 10 3/8" x 9.25" x 5.5". Box has a few cracks and some warping to one side of the lid, but serves its purpose fine. |
