| Black wool felt visor hat, with an original 17th Lancers pin back badge attached. The leather sweat band is maker marked "F. Compton Sons & Webb Ltd, London". Not traditional, perhaps a postal or fireman's hat? Patent leather brim and thin chin strap. Smaller size. The badge has been pressed thru the front, but is missing the cross pin to hold securely. There is a glue repair at one end of the chin strap. Includes what appears to be the original rain cover. Over all in good condition., |
