THE UNDERWOOD BARREL IS DATED 11-43 SHOWS A MIRROR BRIGHT BORE WITH EXCELLENT RIFLING. THE RECEIVER IS MARKED UNDERWOOD BUT IS A SUBCONTRACTED SINGER SEWING MACHINE MARKED WITH A "B". THE BLUED FLAT TOP BOLT IS MARKED "U". THE TYPE II SLIDE IS "U" MARKED. THE TRIGGER HOUSING GROUP IS A FABRICATED TYPE IV THAT IS UNMARKED EXCEPT FOT THE NUMBER 9 STAMPED ON THE LEFT REAR. THE HAMMER IS MARKED "WUU, THE SAFETY IS AN UNMARKED TYPE 1, THE MAGAZINE CATCH IS MARKED "U". THE STOCK AND HANDGUARD ARE CORRECT FOR UNDERWOOD AND THE RIGHT BUTT BEARS AN UNDERWOOD CARTOUCHE.
