| With proper steel mounted leather scabbard. SJC Neuhausen mfr. Leather frog is dated 1926. Evidently a transitional piece, this bayonet has the 4 rivet grip panels as on an 1887 Model with the blade fullered on one side as on the 1878 Model. The small extensions on the rear of the muzzle ring appear to have been removed. Bright blade is very good with a few tiny areas of rust spotting. The grip and guard have some surface rust spotting overall., |
