| Have seen these referred to as M1842, M1848/75 and M1875? Manufactured in Germany, ricasso marked 'GEBR. WEYERSBERG/76/SOLINGEN". Opposite side of the ricasso is stamped with a halmarked Swiss cross and a number ".4439". 20 inch sawback blade, brass handle, 26 inch OAL. Complete with the original brass mounted leather scabbard and a leather belt frog. The brass guard on the handle is stamped "S" and 'P" on one side. The sword is in very good condition, the scabbard is good with some small dents on the brass mounts., |
