It was manufactured in 1940 The front sight is an adjustable winged blade, and the rear is an elevation adjustable tangent-leaf graduated to 1500m. It also has a muzzle cap. The metal finish has some edge wear on the front sights wings. The receiver is thinning. The top of the chamber has a large Swiss Cross over a shield. The serial number is on the left side of the receiver. The stock has a moderate amount of handling marks around the buttstock. It is equipped with a brown leather sling. Under the buttplate is the name of the soldier. ( Troop Tag), s/n 6132xx |
