| 6,5x55; 70% blue, Poor bore, Poor stock, 17.75'' barrel, SWEDISH MAUSER M1894 CARBINE MADE BY CARL GUSTAF IN 1903. THIS CARBINE IS A MYSTERY IN THAT THE SERIAL NUMBER IS 040 AND THERE IS NO INSPECTORS INITIALS ON THE RECEIVER. ALL NUMBERS ARE MATCHING AND THERE IS A DISC IN THE RIGHT BUTT WITH A COAT OF ARMS. THE BLUING HAS TURNED PATINA WITH HEAVY CORROSION ON THE BOLT, BAND AND NOSE CAP. THE BORE RESISTED OUT ATTEMPTS TO CLEAN IT UP AND IS CORRODED WITH HEAVY RUST AND PITTING. THE STOCK IS POOR WITH NUMEROUS DINGS, SCRATCES AND COMPRESSION DENTS. IMPORT MARKED., s/n 0xx |
