| Commercial sporting conversion using a Swedish M1896 small ring Mauser military surplus action fitted with a new barrel and stock in plain beechwood. Ramped fixed front and fixed rear sights. The top of the receiver ring has two holes drilled and tapped, the bridge has no holes. The bolt body is matching, small parts are mis-matched. The stock has a crack behind the receiver tang and a small piece of wood beginning to raise on top of the heel. The stock butt has also been shortened. LOP is 12.75 inches. The bore has strong rifling and a tight muzzle, showing some frost along the grooves and some visible wear at the throat. Mechanically fine. FFL |
