| 38 Special; 95% blue, excellent bore, good grips, 4'' barrel, This is a very nice revolver with a 4-inch pinned barrel marked, left side, SMITH & WESSON, top with 2-line address/patents, right side, 38 S&W SPECIAL CTG. The top strap is marked, U.S.PROPERTY GHD, a S on the plum colored right side plate indicating the slide action hammer block modification, and a P on the left frame. SV s/n on the frame butt. Finish has minor muzzle and edge wear with a couple spots of very light pitting on cylinder and top strap. It has a few minor nicks / dings on smooth walnut grip panels. The bore is bright., s/n SV 7833xx |
