| 22 LR; 85% blue, very good bore, good stock, 18'' barrel, Dutch issue M1895 Mannlicher turnbolt carbine, in .22 caliber for training. These firearms utilized a cartridge adapter for use. Original blued finish, walnut stock and handguard. Non-matching serial numbers. Steyr 1898 dated on left side of receiver. "K.S.O." -Kamer Scheit Oefening (room target practice) stamped on top of the receiver and on the right side of the stock butt. Also on the right side of the stock is the Dutch Queen Wilhelmina roundel cartouche, which has a 1939 date. These training guns were produced in both the rifle and carbine configurations. The metal finish shows levels of thinning overall and the wood has handling dings and scuffs overall. The tip of the forend has been cut, with the section of wood and the upper band reattached using hidden nails. Could be easily repaired.
