The top of the barrel is stamped 44-SHOT (SMOOTH BORE) The left side of the frame is stamped J STEVENS ARMS & TOOL CO. /CHICOPEEFALL MAS. U.S.A. and the right side have TRADE MARK / STEVENS / REG.U.S.PAT. OFF & FGN. The action works, but the lock up is loose. The forearm and buttstock have mild handling marks and scrapes.
