| 22LR; 80% blue, good bore, very good stock, 26'' barrel, Marbles open rear sight and Rocky Mountain brass blade front sight. The receiver has been reblued and ihas turned plumb. Plain walnut stock and forend. Curved metal buttplate also has turned plumb. Octagon to round barrel. The top of the barrel is stamped "J. STEVENS A & T CO. / CHICOPEE FALLS, MASS. U.S.A. PAT. APR. 17. 94." and "22 LR". The wood appears to have been refinished. The hammer does not stay cocked when the action is closed., s/n 560xx |
