| 45-70 Government; 80% blue, good bore, good stock, 32.5'' barrel, Original blued finish, walnut stock. 1884 breechblock date. 1892 dated inspector cartouche located on left side of stock. Script circle P firing proof on bottom of grip. Buffington rear sight. The blued finish is mixing with brown patina overall. Casehardened breechblock aged to a mottled patina. "U.S." stamped on top of the buttplate tang. V, P and eagleshead proofs located on the left side of the barrel. Lock is marked with the American Eagle and "SPRINGFIELD"., s/n 5462xx |
