| 22 LR; 99% parkerized, excellent bore, excellent stock, 24'' barrel, This is a excellent example of a Springfield Model 1922 M1 bolt action rifle Manufactured from 1924 through 1933. The barrel is marked "SA" over the ordnance shell and flame and dated "1-29". The top of the receiver ring is marked "U.S./ SPRINGFIELD/ ARMORY/ M1922 / MI. CAL..22" over the serial number. The rifle has a Lyman 48C micrometer rear sight and a raised globe front sight. The barrel parkerized. The bottom of the bolt handle is stamped NS/M2. The stock is a one-piece smooth American black walnut pistol grip stock with checkered steel buttplate. The left side of the buttstock is stamped SA in a rectangle. Overall in excellent condition., s/n 186xx |
