| 30-40 Krag; 80% blue, very good bore, very good stock, 22'' barrel, Manufactured in 1899 by SPRINGFIELD ARMORY. This is a cut down rifle. It has a 22-inch barrel. The front sight is a raised blade, and the rear is a ladder style graduated to 2000 meters. The metal finish has mils spotting and thinning overall. The receiver is stamped on the left side with U.S. / MODEL 1898 SPRINGFIELD ARMORY 165788. The walnut stock has been shortened and the front of the stock has been patched. The stock is in very good condition. It has sling swivels. The buttplate has a trap door., s/n 1657xx |
