| 30-40 Krag; 90% blue, very good bore, very good stock, 22'' barrel, ANTIQUE This is a cut down rifle and has a Smith Corona replacement barrel from a model 1903 Smith Corona barrel. Marked SC / FLAMING BOMB / 2 /44' barrel, Manufactured by SPRINGFIELD ARMORY. This is a cut down rifle. It has a 22-inch barrel. The front sight is a raised blade, and the rear is a ladder style graduated to 2000 meters. The metal finish has mild thinning on the receiver. The receiver is stamped on the left side with U.S. / MODEL 1896 SPRINGFIELD ARMORY 47479. The walnut stock has been shortened and the front of the stock has been patched. The stock is in very good condition. It has a sling. The buttplate has a trap door., s/n 474xx |
