| 30-06 Cal; 88% blue, good bore, very good stock, 24'' barrel, Low Number" receiver, SA 12-12 barrel. Blue and smooth dark parkerized metal finish. Walnut finger groove stock with two lugs, and walnut handguard. The left side of the stock is marked with a boxed W.E.S. and on the bottom of the grip with a single circle P firing proof and a stamped D in front of the floorplate. Checkered buttplate. The bore has sharp rifling and a tight muzzle, showing some frost throughout. Mounted on the gun is a Model 1908 Warner & Swassy telescopic musket sight. (WWI). Included is the leather carrying case with shoulder strap. On the back of the case is stamped F.J. over NB. Inside the case are the filler screws to plug the mounting holes when the scope is removed., s/n 4113xx |
