| 9x19mm; 94% blue, very good+ bore, very good grips, 4 7/8'' barrel, Rare late war Volkssturm issue 0 series P.38 pistol. Original blued finish and bakelite grips (5 open line) with numbered parts matching. "U" acceptance mark stamped over an eagle/88 proof on the left side of the frame. This example also has Soviet DDR proofing on the left side of the frame, indicating use by East Germany after the war. The right side of the slide, near the serrations, is "U" acceptance marked under an illegible proof along with an eagle/swaz mark. The magazine is stamped on the left side "jvd". The barrel is crown/N proofed on the bottom, and other than the serial number is unmarked otherwise. No import markings. Bore has sharp rifling., s/n 03xx |
