| 12 Ga; fair bore, good stock, 30'' barrel, Basic field grade gun manufactured by Cresent Arms, with damascus steel barrels, casehardened frame and mounted in checkered walnut. 2 1/2 inch chambers with Full and Modifed chokes. Marked on the watertable with the serial number and with patent dates of November 1890 and March 1895. Features a boxlock action, extractors, double triggers, push button release forearm and a full grip stock with the original hard rubber buttplate. The browned barrels have visible damascus grain with surface rust spotting overall. The frame retains generous case colors with surface rust spotting as well. The wood has minor dings and scuffs, with a 3/4 inch hairline crack on the stocks right side flat behind the frame. The break lever return spring is not working properly and there is a slight bit of forced barrel play in lockup. Antique., s/n 46xx |
