| 38 S&W; excellent bore, good grips, 5'' barrel, Manufactured circa WW2, lend lease Victory model with original parkerized finish and plain walnut grips. Matching serial numbers on cylinder and barrel. 5-screw frame. Fixed sights. British proofing has been ground from the left side rear corner of the frame. The frame top strap is stamped with a small flaming bomb followed by "U.S. PROPERTY GHD". The metal finish is worn and browning over all. Grips are over all good, the left panel has a small chip of wood missing at the upper front corner. Mechanically fine. No import marks found. C&R/FFL, s/n V4944xx |
