| 44 RUSSIAN; fair bore, very good grips, 3.5'' barrel, Originally nickel plated finish, only traces of that finish remain. Checkered grips are replacements. Barrel has been shortened to 3.5" with fixed blade sight. Two line S&W address and patent dates on top of the barrel partially missing due to the cut barrel. Scattered pitting with dark spotting overall. Action functions well. Cylinder has quite a bit of play. The bore shows strong rifling however has some corrosion and pitting throughout.
