| 38 S&W; good bore, very good+ grips, 3.25'' barrel, Manufactured c.1877-1891. Bright original factory nickel finish and checkered hard rubber grips with S&W monogram. Matching serial number 5-shot cylinder. Round ribbed barrel, stamped on top with the S&W address and patent dates 1865, 1869, 1871 and 1875 in two lines. Blued checkered spur trigger, casehardened checkered spur hammer. Retains 99% of the nickel finish, with scattered minor handling scratches. Mechanically in fine condition with good barrel lockup. The bore has rather minor corrosion. Antique, s/n 165xx |
