| 30-06 Springfiel; 99% parkerized, very good+ bore, very good stock, 24'' barrel, Manufactured in 1943. The barrel is stamped SC / Flaming Bomb / 4-43 the front sight is a blade with a sight cover and an Aperture rear sight. Remington bolt. The top of the chamber is stamped U.S. / SMITH CORONA / MODEL 03-A3 / s/n. it has an "open box" SA/S stamp indicating a post-WWII overhaul at Springfield Armory. There is a 5+/- inch grain crack under forend. Very minor handling / storage wear. The bright bore shows a light frost., s/n 36814xx |
