| 38 Special; 88% blue, excellent bore, fair grips, 6'' barrel, SMITH & WESSON MODEL 14 CONVERTED TO SAO AND MADE IN 1959. THE BLUING SHOWS MUZZLE WEAR ALONG WITH SPOTS OF FRECKLING MOSTLY ON THE FRAME. THERE IS A SPOT OF RED PAINT ON THE LEFT BARREL WHICH WAS DONE BY A SWISS RANGE INSPECTOR. THE SERVICE HAMMER AND TRIGGER RETAIN APPROX 95% OF THEIR CASE COLORS. THE BORE IS IRRPR BRIGHT WITH EXCELLENT RIFLING. THE LEFT GRIP PANEL IS MISSING A GOOD SIZED PIECE OF WOOD BEING THE TRIGGER GUARD. THE RIGHT GRIP PANEL IS INTACT SHOWING MODERATE WEAR. AGAIN THIS ACTION WAS CONVERTED TO SINGLE ACTION ONLY FOR COMPETITION. IMPORT MARKED., s/n K3771xx |
