| Description: |
| 8mm Mauser; good bore, good stock, 23.5'' barrel, This rifle is pictured in detail on page 320 in the book "Mauser Military Rifles of the World-4th Edition" by Robert W.D. Ball, and was formerly from the collection of John Wall. Original blue finish worn to mostly gray with traces of blue, original walnut stock and handguard. The left side of the receiver is marked with the small Slovak crest, three crested mountain peaks with a double barred crucifix. Matching stock, non-matching bolt is proper with the slovak double barred crucifix on the knob. The rifle shows service use with finish wear and many dings and small gouges on the stock. Older CAI import mark on the end of the barrel. With an original cleaning rod. Mechanically fine. Very few of these conversions have been observed. C&R/FFL, s/n 13xx |
