| 16 Gauge; 90% blue, fair bore, fair stock, 27.5'' barrel, Manufactured by Simson, E. Wolf Suhl marked on top of barrels. Dated 12/49. Original blued finish barrels, game scene relief engraved bright frame, mounted in checkered walnut. 2 3/4 inch chambers with Modified and Improved Cylinder chokes. Matted concave rib with bead sight. Boxlock action with crossbolt, automatic ejectors, double triggers, latch release forearm, pistol grip stock with cheekrest, 14 inch LOP fitted with a replacement plastic buttplate from a Baikal shotgun. Used, checkering on the wood is worn mostly smooth, the stock has chips and cracks behind the frame, with a ferruled screw run thru the flats behind the frame. Mechanically fine with tight lockup, however the safety reset does not function. Import marked. C&R/FFL, s/n 56xx |
