| 12 Gauge; very good bore, fair stock, 29 3/8'' barrel, Manufactured in Germany, dated November 1949. Worn original boue finish barrels. Casehardened frame. Mounted in checkered walnut. 2 3/4 inch chambers with Full chokes. Matted barrel rib marked "SIMSON & CO S.A.G. AWTOWELO. SUHL". Boxlock action with crossbolt, double triggers, extractor, latch release forearm, pistol grip stock with cheekrest. 14.5 inch LOP with a vented recoil pad fitted. Used, with thin finish and handling wear on wood. Bolt has been run thru the flats on the stock behind the frame, right side has small nail repairs to a crack. The stock is a bit loose and may been major repair or replacement. Mechanically fine with good barrel lockup. C&R/FFL, s/n 1116xx |
