| 22 Caliber; fair bore, very good grips, 2.5'' barrel, Sharp's manufacture c.1859-1874. Matching number barrel cluster, rust patina finish. Brass frame with trace silver plate finish at some edges, marked with the C. Sharps address in a circular pattern on the right frame, and 1859 patent date on the left. Carved gutta-percha grips. Hammer mounted rotating firing pin. Barrel retention spring is broken, allowing the barrels to pull freely off the frame and is not safe to fire. The action functions fine. Antique, s/n 186xx |
