| 50 Caliber; 95% blue, excellent bore, excellent stock, 22'' barrel, Blued finish round barrel, fixed front and ladder rear sights, barrel unmarked except for inspector "LW" stamp on left side. 3 groove lined 50 caliber barrel. Color case hardened action, bands and buttplate with nice color remaining. Saddle ring in the white on the left stock. Walnut forend, sharp "LW" stamp on the bottom near the action. Walnut buttstock, sharp FWP isnpector stamp near the end of the saddle ring tang, at the center of the stock is a strong DFC in ribbon cartouche. Heel of the stock is stamped LW and MW on the top. Action has the standard Sharps and RS Lawrence markings. Breechblock is percussion. Barrel has spots of finish loss and rust pitting. Antique, s/n C478xx |
