| 300 Savage; 99% blue, mint bore, fair stock, 24'' barrel, Savage 99R built in 1956. This Savage 99R is in mint condition showing little to no wear on it. Checkered walut stock and semi-beavertail forearm. Damascend bolt. Semi-buckhorn rear sight. Gold bead front sight on a raised ramp. Factory drilled and tapped receiver. Corrugated steel buttplate shows very minor wear. Barrel states the gun was built in Chicopee Falls, Mass. Cartridge counter. Sling eyes. The stock is very nice however there are cracks on top of the butt at each side of the receiver tang. |
