| 22 LR CAL; 88% blue, very good+ bore, excellent grips, 10'' barrel, Manufactured from 1925 to 1936, this unique pistol is ? 885 of only 1,870 produced. It resembles a semi-automatic pistol, however it is a single shot target pistol with a barrel that pivots to the left for loading. The top of the barrel rib is marked with the one line address and patent date, the right side is marked with the caliber designation and the left side is marked "SMITH & WESSON". The S&W logo has been removed when the beavertail was modified. The matching serial number is on the butt and barrel. Pinned blade front and adjustable rear target sights, all blue finish and fitted with smooth walnut grips with silver S&W medallions. Mild edge and surface wear to finish, the bore is bright, grips show minimal nicks, dings, or compression dents., s/n 8xx |
