| 30.06; 75% blue, 85% parkerized, excellent bore, excellent stock, 24'' barrel, ROCK ISLAND ARSENAL (LOW NUMBER) MODEL 1903 RIFLE THAT WAS RE ARSENALLED DURING WWII. A SPRINGFIELD ARMORY DATED 2-42 BARREL WAS INSTALLED ALONG WITH A REMINGTON BOLT AND A NEW STRAIGHT STOCK. THE BOLT RETAINS 75% OF ITS BLUE FINISH, THE RIFLE HAS APPROX 85% PARKERIZING REMAINING. THE BORE IS MIRROR BRIGHT WITH EXCELLENT 4 GROOVE RIFLING. THE STRAIGHT STOCK IS EXCELLENT WITH A "RA-P" STAMP AHEAD OF THE BOLT RELEASE LEVER. THE STOCK BEARS NO OTHER MARKINGS AND COMES WITH A PERIOD CORRECT LEATHER SLING., s/n 2653xx |
