| 30-06 Cal; 50% blue, fair bore, very good stock, 24'' barrel, RIA 12-11 barrel date. Original blue finish. Walnut single lug finger groove stock and high hump handguard. Straight turned down bolt, unmarked except punch mark on shank. Proper small parts. Stock is stamped at the tip of the forend "S". No inspector markings on wood. Initials "LCH" over a small "P" on the bottom of the grip behind the trigger guard tang. Original M1907 leather sling attached, maker marked from Hoyt and dated 1918 in good serviceable condition, one keeper is a non-original replacement, other original replacement. Nickeled brass oiler in butt trap. The bore shows wear and corrosion throughout. The metal has thin finish. Mechanically fine. Note: this receiver serial numbered below 286,506 is considered a "low number" receiver. C&R/FFL, s/n 2073xx |
