| 54 Cal; fair bore, fair stock, 33'' barrel, Lock marked "ROBBINS/&/LAWRENCE/U.S." and vertically at the rear "WINDSOR VT./1852". Browned round barrel with dark spotting and pitting. Walnut stock with cleaned brass mounts. Both sling swivels are broken. Reproduction brass tipped ramrod. Some screws are replacements. The stock shows wear and handling, crack on the left between the tie plate and barrel, wood filler repairs on top of the stock on both sides of the barrel tang, small cracks behind the lockplate and a 2 inch crack in front of the patchbox. Fixed brass blade front sight, dovetailed notched rear sight. No provision for bayonet mounting. The barrel appears to have been smoothbored. The lock functions however the tumbler notches are weak.
