| 22 Hornet; 98% blue, excellent bore, very good+ grips, 9'' barrel, Early Rex Merrill Sportsman single shot pistol with the original blued finish, left hand, with plain walnut grips. Marked on the left frame "REX MERRILL PISTOL MFG. BY/MERRILL CO. INC. ROCKWELL CITY IOWA". Thumb safety, LH. 22 Hornet chambered barrel with vented rib and fixed front sight. Barrel is mounted with Weaver rings and a Leupold M8 2X EX scope, with duplex reticle and crisp clear optics. Includes an extra barrel chambered for 30-30 Winchester, vented rib with fixed front sight, dovetailed for a rear sight, with an added dovetail and elevation adjustable leaf. 30-30 barrel has been used, bore a bit dirty but with sharp rifling. The pistol shows rather light and minor handling marks with a small area of minor s rust on the right rear frame. The action functions as it should. The extractor for the Hornet barrels extractor needs attention and may be broken. Includes an wrist brace which attaches to the right side of the rear frame.
