| 41 RF; fair bore, good grips, 4'' barrel, Made circa 1865-1888. Fitted with genuine pearl grips. The top of the barrel, on the flat above the chamber is stamped "REMINGTON'S ILION, N.Y./PAT'D OCT. 1, 1861. NOV. 15, 1864". No metal finish remains, with some pitting and small dings overall, the front of the grip frame having some deep pitting. The grips have some age cracks and minor chipping along the bottom of the frame. Missing the front sight. Mechanically fine. Antique., s/n 43xx |
