| 22 LR; very good bore, good stock, 25'' barrel, Manufactured c.1939-1962. Single shot bolt action. Not much metal finish remains. Most on the receiver. Plain walnut stock with original buttplate. Fixed front and elevation adjustable rear sights. Receiver has been drilled and tapped on the left side for a scope base. Bedding work done on the upper forend. Rust spotting on metal. Holes drilled into the bottom of the stock for swivels. Action functions fine. The bore is bright and strong, there is a visible ring not far from the muzzle in the bore. |
