| 6.5 X 55mm; 85% blue, very good bore, good stock, 23'' barrel, Modified and rebarreled. Blued finish, plain walnut stock. This rifle has been custom rebarreled with what appears to be a barrel from an M1896 Mauser military rifle. No barrel sights fitted, the receiver has a Weaver #62 one piece scope base installed on top, along with a dovetailed extension added on the top rear of the receiver. The stock has been sanded, the butt with a cheekrest and adjustable buttplate. The magazine release lever has a small extension brazed on. Clamp on upper sling swivel stud, no provision for a sling swivel on the buttstock. Original factory 30-06 marked detachable magazine. Tested feed of a cartridge, seems to function fine. Mechanically fine. As we do not know who did the work and have not test fired, no quarantees can be made about this rifle. SOLD AS IS. FFL, s/n 2574xx |
